RoR Córdoba ACTION SAMBA-BAND

On the 1st of October 2008 RoR Córdoba samba-action band was born. Since the first day between 20 to 30 people have been attending the rehearsals. These people have been learning the rhythms quickly, although the band has very short actionexperience.

We consider our group to be a daughter of "La samba de la Gente" (Gent samba band). Other samba bands of Córdoba (Tracá-Timbá and Maluko Dabeko) have also helped us from the beginning, lending instruments or spreading the message. The "Círculo cultural Juan XXIII" offered us a place to store our instruments and a place to rehearse.

Together with the band of Lisboa, we’ll help other bands to start along Iberia, hopefully in a near future, and an International meeting around here is indeed a great help!
