At first we want to thank our supporters from Amsterdam, Freiburg, Bremen and very spontaneously from Heidelberg for the gerat effort you did to come and join us!!! It was great fun playing together!

There is lots of discussion on indymedia wether the blockade was a success or did just give a support the major of Cologne and the parties - WE all found that it WAS a success.

Over 10 000 people from all over Germany and Europe came to join the protest - this was far the biggest Event happening in Cologne since years!

It was a success that the nazis were completely blocked until they had to cancel their congress. And our playing was powerful and motivating for the people at the blockade, the Clownsarmy joined at some time and had some wild dances, a trumpet player joined spontaneously.

We passed by some activists caught by the police, gave them support with shoutings and stayed at the side of the incirclings.

It was a lot of fun to powerful play the action samba - and at the same time shocking which kind of repression by the police took place in the late afternoon.

We learn a lot of it, and are looking forward to meet Ror Sambistas from everywhere to exchange rhythm and experiences.
