26th September 2006 - AntiWar demo in Manchester. Rhythms of Resistance London, Sheffield, Manchester join forces. Around 50 sambistas, playing the Kalashnikov tune. Because of the large number of sambistas 2 mestres were used - one at the front and one in the middle.

Tip: The mestre at the front communicated any changes (e.g. breaks etc) 4 beats before the break with to the 2nd mestre (by showing the break, then lifting hand up, and in four after beats from the hand up both mestres counted in the band) so the counting was synchronized between the two mestres. This worked well.
